The New Fish Dish


Still excited about the new menu items at Dorrian's Red Hand, in some part due to my having input into it. So now they/we offer—as part of their/our expanded entrée menu—a Teriyaki-Glazed Pan-Seared Salmon Filet, that is served over a crisp, warm salad of julienned veggies and some roasted potatoes.

Alas, the practicality, the chef argued, of Peel & Eat shrimp is that it presents less prep for the kitchen—no peeling by the sous chef—so he decided to scrap using shrimp, and instead use already "prep"-able—and "spice"-able on the fly—grilled chicken and/or steak, and has made an admittedly delightful and tasty version of what we will be calling Pub Tacos ... Wafeler's Travels

..I took a quick look at the menu to refamiliarize myself with all of the yummy options, rendered immediately moot once I saw the BACON SYRUP WAFEL special scribbled on the chalkboard on the side of the truck! I ordered one while perusing the truck for the rest of its wares and watching the wafel-makers create other customer's dishes... [cont.]
