Fruitful Options

...We cleaned our plates—no small feat since these were not small portions—and I eventually convinced Danny that he couldn't really leave without having a dessert crepe, especially with the many options for fillings, from fruit to Nutella to nuts to whipped cream to Oreos to brownies to ice cream to granola and Graham crackers. Down For Chinatown

... With the unfortunate exception of the shrimp paste (better in idea than in execution), this dish was quite a winner. The pork and beef were nicely seasoned and tender, and were enjoyed more with wrapped in the lettuce with a leaf each of basil and mint, some rice noodles, and a drizzle of house-made vinegar dipping sauce. The Proof Is In The Eating

So dredging some breast and drumsticks in a flour and cormeal mix spiced with salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and paprika, and herberd with dried oregano, basil, sage and tarragon, I deep fried those in some hot corn oil two-to-three pieces at at time for about 10-12 minutes per batch, and they came out all golden, crispy-skinned on the outside...
